• Entries for CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2024 Open

The CIBSE Building Performance Awards, which rewards excellence in the building services sector, is now open for entries.

The awards focus on measured building performance outcomes, and not just design intent or performance specifications. Categories include Engineer of the Year and Best Digital Innovation.

Entries are open to any organisation or individual, both within the UK and internationally, that is responsible for the design, commissioning, construction, installation and operation of low-energy buildings and the manufacturers whose products enable efficient energy consumption.

CIBSE President Adrian Catchpole said: “From my standpoint, I’ve found the BPAs to be an acclaimed night that celebrates the dedication of industry professionals and illustrates the best practices we pride ourselves on when tackling the critical issues at work currently in the sector.  

“During my Presidential address, I called for engineering leadership to deliver an urgent response to climate change and building safety considerations. I encourage you to take inspiration from the projects shared and invite all to take a lead and get involved in the event.”

Building services professionals have until Tuesday 5 September 2023 to submit their entries. The awards evening will take place on Thursday 29 February 2024 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.
