- Geoff Prudence Joins Alpine Works as Development Director
18 February 2025
Mechanical and electrical building services company Alpine Works has announced the appointment of Geoff Prudence as Development Director.
With over 50 years of experience in transport infrastructure, finance, and the public sector, Geoff is passionate about leading change and driving business transformation. He is committed to improving delivery standards in the built environment. Notably, Geoff served as the chair of the CIBSE FM Group for 21 years, where he led numerous industry activities and panels, including the recent update to the CIBSE Guide M, which promotes effective maintenance strategies and practical designs.
In recognition of his significant contributions to the industry, Geoff was recently awarded CIBSE’s highest honour, the Gold Medal. This prestigious award is given to individuals who have provided exceptional service in the built environment for at least 25 years and is presented annually by CIBSE’s President in October.
John Robinson, Operations Director at Alpine Works said: “Geoff’s extensive experience and industry insight will be a tremendous asset to Alpine Works. His leadership in the sector is unparalleled, and we look forward to the impact he will have as we drive forward with our growth strategy.”
Established in 2002, Alpine Works provides building services to clients within the education, healthcare, and heritage sectors, specialising in risk management within complex, high risk and critical environments.
