• Jason Smithies Joins Novus Property Solutions

Maintenance contractor Novus Property Solutions has appointed Jason Smithies as Head of Operations for Scotland and the Northeast.

Jason started his career as a Tenant Liaison Officer 22 years ago and has held several operational positions within the social housing, planned maintenance and refurbishment sector. He has worked for Mears Group, Equans and Lovell Partnerships, with experience leading Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) retrofit work.

In his new role at Novus, Jason will help the company grow its presence in the housing sector. Jason will be responsible for all planned works, repairs and maintenance contracts within the Scotland and Northeast region, including operational and commercial performance, health and safety, client and resident satisfaction, business development and social value. 

Jason said: “I am delighted to join Novus as Head of Operations for Scotland and the Northeast at what is a very exciting time for the business. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow Novus’ position across the sector and the region, ensuring it becomes one of the most trusted providers of our services in the sector.
