M&E maintenance provider Mecsia has acquired the building services company Scott Combustion.
The acquisition will allow Mecsia to expand its nationwide building services delivery, particularly in Scott Combustion’s established locations in East Grinstead and Manchester. Mecsia was originally formed in 2020 after acquiring Cambridge Maintenance Services and subsequently Acorn, SK Refrigeration & Heating, and Artic Building Services. In March 2024, Mecsia announced a new investment deal with Synova to improve its market share in the technical service market and support new acquisitions
Scott Combustion is one of the oldest Corgi/Gas Safe registered companies in the UK with a registration dating back to 1983 and is known for its expertise in servicing and maintaining critical HVAC systems.
Jon Coiley, CEO of Mecsia said: “We are delighted to welcome Scott Combustion to the Mecsia group. Their expertise in servicing and maintaining critical building systems perfectly complements our existing offerings. This acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver a truly comprehensive solution for our clients.”
Darren Morse, UK Operations Director, Scott Combustion added: “We at Scott Combustion are delighted to join the Mecsia group of companies.
