• Mitie Continues Partnership With the Welsh Government

Mitie has retained its facilities management contract with the Welsh Government.

The four-year contract covers the Welsh government’s administrative estate, across nineteen buildings in Wales, one in London and one in Brussels.

Mitie says that it envisages investing £17.2 million into local Welsh businesses and organisations as part of its supply chain over the course of the contract. 

In addition, Mitie has pledged to provide more than 50 full working days of business advice to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises locally.

Mitie will also provide nearly seven full-time working weeks of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion training to staff working across the estate.

Eustace Xavier, Finance Director, Technical Services, Mitie, said: “We’re proud to continue our partnership with the Welsh Government, built on trust, shared values, and a deep understanding of the estate. This contract is more than facilities management, it’s about helping local communities thrive through our commitment to sustainability, local investment, and skills development.”
