Catering service provider Thomas Franks and Kanso Facilities Management have launched Curo, a cleaning company for the independent education sector.
The newly-formed joint venture is targeting the independent school market and a spokesperson said it had “already mobilised several independent school contracts across the UK.”
Thomas Franks already provides catering for around 200 prep, senior, day and boarding schools, including Pangbourne College and Durham High School.
Through the new Curo brand, cleaning and hygiene services will now be offered to the market and delivered through its partnership with Kanso FM.
Frank Bothwell, Founder and CEO of the Thomas Franks Group, said: “Curo is an exciting collaboration built on shared values and a desire to do things differently. Working alongside Norma and the Kanso team brings a depth of operational expertise that I believe will set a new standard in our sector. Together, we’re offering something new and fresh, with a structure and flexibility that reflects what schools need today.”
Norma Bresciani, CEO of Kanso FM, added: “We are proud to bring the Kanso way into education through Curo. We’ve built our reputation on delivering cleaning in high-expectation environments, from luxury hotels to the head offices of global brands, so we know what it takes to deliver consistent quality with care. Curo gives us the platform to bring this same approach into independent schools, with a model that focuses on experience, structure, and empowering our people to deliver their best work every day.”
