Pilot Group – EMEX 2021 | Focus Interview

03 December 2021

In another of our EMEX Focus Interview series, we welcome Phoebe Baker, Account Manager from Pilot Group. The Pilot Group help businesses to be more energy-efficient, supporting them to meet the UKGOV 2050 NetZero guidelines, as well as reducing energy bills and future carbon tax.

They think the key to hitting net-zero targets is to implement smarter technologies, to help monitor consumption in order to make economic adjustments to operations. On occasions where businesses cannot completely eliminate carbon footprint, for example in necessary service or product processes and some supply links, there is of course the option to then offset carbon.

The system they install uses hardware and software components to measure and manage a business or property’s energy usage. “The two technologies that made a massive difference for our customers would be the self-optimisation program and the self-learning algorithms,” said Pheobe.

“By working with them to meet their own requirements, we’ve actually saved on average 40% of gas consumption and about 30% electric for clients.”

Here's what else she had to say at EMEX:
