• Rachel Gillott Promoted to Macro’s Head of UK & Europe FM Consultancy and Global Projects Director

Macro’s current Operations Director has been promoted to Head of UK & Europe FM Consultancy and Global Projects Director. 

Rachel Gillott spent 18 years at Mace Group before moving to Macro in 2023. Since joining Macro, Rachel has delivered capital projects for clients across broad portfolios, including Surrey County Council in the UK. 

In her new roles, Rachel will be tasked with enhancing the FM provision at the newly independent Macro Group, which underwent an MBO from the Mace Group in 2023. 

Rachel said: “It is such an exciting time to be a part of Macro, and I’m thrilled to be charged with helping to grow the business. Through FM consultancy, we can identify clients’ facilities’ needs, undertake the projects needed, and then hand over the portfolios to our FM professionals, confident the facilities can be operated uninterrupted and to a high standard.” 

Nick Garniss, Director of FM Consultancy, added: “Rachel is an incredibly experienced and effective leader, who has already had a profound impact on our clients’ facilities portfolios. She is now ideally positioned to continue to grow Macro’s consultancy and projects by leveraging clients’ facilities data and information, and managing the delivery of large programmes of capital works quickly and effectively.”
