• Gary Pyle Appointed as Macro Managed Services Chief Operating Officer

Macro, formerly known as Mace Operate, has appointed Gary Pyle as its Chief Operating Officer of Managed Services.

Gary has been with the group since 2021, joining as Global Mobilisation Lead for Mace Operate and then becoming UK & Europe regional lead for Mace’s managed services business. He has also served in the British Army.

In his new role, Gary will be responsible for delivering Macro’s Target Operating Model.

In 2020, Mace stopped using the Macro brand as it became Mace Operate, led by Ross Abbate. In 2023, Ross led the management buy-out of Mace Operate, which is known once again as Macro.
