Spotlight Interview – Brian Cosheril

Brian Cosheril is the Head of Engineering at back-up power solutions provider YorPower. We joined Brian to reflect on his extensive career in the generator industry, the current skills shortage and YorPower's commitment to customer relationships.

Brian has spent the majority of his career in backup power solutions and has been part of the YorPower Group for almost 25 years. As well as managing the service side of generators for clients, Brian creates and conducts comprehensive training programmes for YorPower’s engineers. He is passionate about hands-on experience for young people entering the industry and prides himself on staying up-to-date with technology, especially with the numerous control systems on the market.

Throughout his time at YorPower, Brian has maintained strong relationships with customers, some for over 20 years, and he finds immense satisfaction in problem-solving for clients.
