Spotlight Interview – Pawel Malon | SINGU

SINGU provides AI-powered, cloud-based software for property, facilities, maintenance, ESG and building operations. Bringing together expertise from Micad, Synbiotix and QR Maint, it combines decades of experience in one connected platform.

Its CAFM and CMMS solutions support complex portfolios across healthcare, logistics, retail and commercial real estate. Operating in more than 40 countries and managing over 250 million square metres, SINGU helps organisations improve efficiency, maintain compliance, reduce costs and increase asset value.

In a recent interview with ThisWeekinFM, CEO Pawel Malon discussed SINGU’s mission to improve property and facilities performance through smarter, more connected technology.

Malon explained that SINGU’s acquisition strategy responds to growing pressure on estates and facilities teams to do more with less. By replacing disconnected legacy systems, spreadsheets and outdated reporting with an integrated platform spanning hard and soft FM, space management and compliance, clients benefit from a more streamlined technology landscape and real-time visibility of asset performance and expenditure.

Strength in Logistics and Healthcare

SINGU supports major organisations across complex operational environments, with particular strength in logistics and healthcare.

In logistics and warehousing, SINGU works with leading global real estate owners and operators, including Prologis, CTP, Logicor, SEGRO and Accolade. Its software supports large, multi-site portfolios, providing greater visibility and control across assets, maintenance and building operations.

SINGU Healthcare is the only complete platform for healthcare estates and facilities management, covering hard FM, soft FM, space and compliance. Building on the heritage of Micad and Synbiotix, it supports approximately 80 per cent of NHS trusts in England, alongside healthcare organisations across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Its solutions help manage estates, space and essential support services, including catering, cleaning and patient transport. Malon noted that the platform’s success within highly complex NHS environments demonstrates its reliability across other sectors.

Practical AI and Mobile Technology

Malon highlighted SINGU’s cloud-based, mobile-first technology as a key differentiator from legacy FM platforms. Designed to work offline, it gives technicians uninterrupted access in environments such as hospital basements, cold stores and remote logistics sites.

SINGU’s practical AI is built into the tickets, inspections and reports teams already use. It reads inspection reports, flags equipment risks and answers portfolio questions in plain language, turning inspection findings, equipment information and portfolio data into faster action. Teams can get faster answers from the data they already hold, without learning a new tool or changing their workflows.

Future Growth and Investment

SINGU will continue investing in software development and practical AI while expanding organically and through targeted acquisitions. Malon believes SINGU is well positioned as organisations increasingly seek unified control, lower risk and reduced costs across complex international property portfolios.
