Read Full ArticleENERGAIR, the sustainable compressed air management arm of Belgian-based compressor controls specialist CMC, has announced plans to provide a virtual reality experience on an industrial level at this year’s EMEX.
The compressed air control specialist, which has built a reputation in the UK and US for helping manufacturers reduce their energy bills and carbon emissions through compressed air system optimisation, will be hosting simulations of AIRMATICSTM – its proprietary cloud-based asset monitoring, performance and control solution.
Through AIRMATICSTM, manufacturers can accelerate their journey towards net zero by letting the platform manage an infinite number of locally interconnected fixed speed, variable speed and variable output air compressors.
Through a series of sensors - or asset tags - and AIRCLOUD, the AIRMATICSTM IoT-led platform that responds to individual compressed air assets in real-time, air compressor performance can be automatically adjusted to improve performance, increase efficiency and cut unnecessary energy use.
The technology, which has been developed by CMC’s internationally renowned engineers, is also brand agnostic, which means that its technology can be applied to every compressed air asset regardless of its original manufacturer and age.
For the entire two days, the ENERGAIR team will simulating AIRMATICSTM as it would be run in an industrial environment. Visitors will be able to ‘test drive’ AERO, the AIRMATICSTM controller, and explore its key functionality and capabilities.
Graham Coats, Sales Director at CMC, commented: “The net zero agenda is one of the most pressing issues that manufacturers across the globe are now having to face head on. EMEX 2022 comes at the right time and provides an ideal platform on which those involved in achieving net zero can debate, discover and delve into the solutions that will help those in business today meet the environmental expectations of tomorrow. We look forward to demonstrating our technology and discovering what other solutions are now available at this year’s show.”
For over 30 years, CMC has been designing and manufacturing compressed air controller, performance and monitoring solutions for manufacturers worldwide.
