• Apleona Names New Chief Operating Officer of FM Arm

Andreas Neukam has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the FM International business unit at Apleona.

He will assume the role from 1 April 2025, succeeding James Thoden van Velzen, who will continue in an advisory role in the FM International management team on special projects. 

Andreas Neukam, reporting directly to Michael Engel, COO of Apleona Group, will manage Apleona's 33 national businesses in the EMEA region. He was previously responsible for Group Real Estate Management at Fresenius Group and was also Senior Director of Project Management for CBRE’s Cisco account.

Michael Engel said: “We are very pleased that with Andreas Neukam we have been able to attract a highly experienced manager to continue the positive development of our international business. 

“His extensive international sales and operational expertise in FM and corporate real estate management will play a major role in helping Apleona achieve a market-leading position for integrated FM in Europe.”

Apleona was recently acquired by investment firm Bain Capital, but will remain an independent company.
