Churchill Group’s security and cleaning contract with the University of Suffolk has been extended for five years.
Churchill has provided cleaning services at the university since 2011, and Amulet has provided security since 2019. Both services will be delivered under the Churchill Group umbrella.
More than 60 cleaning operatives and security officers across four main campuses will deliver work including window cleaning, washroom services, pest control, water dispensers, as well as CCTV monitoring and patrolling.
The university can extend the contract once again for another one or two years.
Nigel Lucker, Director of Estates at the University of Suffolk, said: "After a full tender period, we are delighted to partner with Churchill Group as our cleaning, security and soft services FM partner. We maintain exceptional spaces and create a more sustainable future through working with our partners and Churchill Group has shown they share our vision and values that will support our overall aims. We are delighted to have a partner that understands who we are and how we wish to enhance the staff and student experience and to also walk alongside us as we create and maintain exceptional buildings."
Darren Read, CEO at Churchill Group, added: "We’re delighted to extend a partnership with an organisation that shares so many of our values. The years of trust we have built along with the length of the new contract make it a fantastic opportunity for continued investment and innovation. The University of Suffolk team has always been open to new ideas, and we look forward to helping them deliver exceptional experiences for their staff and students."
