The Emerging Workplace Leaders volunteer group (EWL) was founded in 2019, after taking the reins from the Young Manager’s Forum (YMF) and is a collective group of professionals within the workplace and facilities management sector. The group’s unifying mission is to accelerate change in the workplace and create a community and platform that enables the leaders of today and tomorrow to connect and accelerate their personal and professional growth.
The committee is made up of volunteers, with representatives from leading organisations such as Mitie, Churchill, Leesman, ISS, Sodexo and CBRE. The group run regular events both virtually and in-person, and they actively manage the process for the annual Young Leader of the Year Award, as part of the PFM awards.
