Grupo SUEZ has announced a new facilities management partnership with Cloudfm OTS in a new multi-million euro five-year contract, covering more than 900 sites in Spain.
The contract will see the deployment of Cloudfm OTS’s latest technology that will help the global firm standardise processes and control spending. It will see hard facility management of all sites across Spain.
The contract will cover offices and warehouses and see Cloudfm deliver a wide range of estate services, including mechanical and electrical maintenance, fabric and plumbing.
Commenting on the contract, Josep Valls de Blas, Director of FM, from Grupo SUEZ, said: “Cloudfm OTS provides us with a new way to manage our facilities management needs that provides greater transparency and real-time data to give us greater control of both costs and quality. We look forward to developing the partnership over the coming years.”
SUEZ is a global leader in essential environmental services and serves over 64 million customers worldwide. It recently announced its solution for monitoring the SARS-CoV-2 virus in wastewater was chosen by the Ministry of Health as a digital platform to monitor the virus’s evolution in wastewater.
The project’s objective is the microbiological surveillance in wastewater and bathing water as an epidemiological indicator of early warning before the spread of COVID-19. More than 30 urban wastewater treatment plants throughout Spain are currently monitored.
The announcement follows Cloudfm OTS facilities management contract with Serunion, one of Spain’s leading contract caterers. The company moved to Cloudfm OTS’s award-winning digital solution to boost effectiveness in its maintenance programme.
Commenting on the partnership, Gerard Huertas, director of Cloudfm OTS, said: “Our new partnership with SUEZ is a vote of confidence in the power of our disruptive technology. It puts real-time data at the heart of facilities management to transform the effectiveness of maintenance programmes.
“It’s very gratifying to have won a client such as Grupo SUEZ, who have entrusted all their buildings to Cloudfm OTS. The agreement will enable the full deployment of our solution to get full traceability and gain efficiency.”
