• ISS to Begin Mobilising DWP Contract

ISS is preparing to mobilise its £135 million integrated facilities management services contract with the UK Department for Work and Pensions.

The contract will see ISS provide cleaning, catering, technical services, and workplace experience services across 800+ sites occupied by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). The seven-year contract (with extensions for up to three years) is scheduled to go live in October 2025.

The DWP estate is one of the largest commercial estates within the government with a portfolio comprised of corporate centres, back-of-house offices, job centres and health assessment centres.

Craig Varian, Director of DWP Estates, said: “Our Workplace Services Programme is the largest such re-procurement in government, creating a facilities management service that is business critical in enabling DWP to function and serve our customers. I am looking forward to the new partnership with ISS and building a collaborative and exciting working relationship.”
