Kimpton Appointed for Maintenance Services Contract at Liverpool’s West Tower

M&E and HVAC services provider Kimpton has won a maintenance contract at the tallest building in Liverpool: West Tower.

Kimpton will maintain the heating and air conditioning systems within the building on Liverpool’s waterfront.

West Tower is 40 storeys high and contains a mix of residential apartments and the Panoramic 34 restaurant with views across the Mersey to the Wirral and Welsh hills. It was built by The Beetham Organisation, their second tower development in Liverpool after Beetham Tower on Old Hall Street.

It’s the third tallest building in the Uk outside of London, after South Tower at Deansgate Square and Beetham Tower, at 301 Deansgate, both in Manchester.

Matt Breakwell, Business Development Manager at Kimpton wrote on LinkedIn: “We're absolutely chuffed to be a local home-grown business looking after some of Liverpool's most prominent developments - over 1,000,000 sq ft of which is along the stunning Liverpool waterfront.”

Kimpton, established in 1963, completed a management buyout in 2024 and is led by Tim Davis, Linzi Kelly, Paul Cooper, Scott Bennett, Paul Davies, Andy Morgan and Matt Breakwell.
