Novus Property Solutions has been awarded three hospital-based contracts in Preston, Birmingham and Liverpool.
Novus recently completed an external works contract with Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest children’s hospitals in Europe. Works included the excavation and installation of new drainage connections, as well as the integration of new mechanical and electrical systems over a one-month period.
Also in the North West, Novus has secured a significant internal refurbishment contract for Lancashire Teaching Hospital in Preston. This significant contract was awarded through the prestigious RISE framework, and will see Novus’ expert team complete a series of refurbishment works across nine site buildings.
Novus was also successful in its tender for internal refurbishment works at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. This contract comprises two phases, including a 30-week full refurbishment of the on-site robot pharmacy which has now been completed.
Commenting on the contractor’s recent successes across the healthcare sector, Novus Property Solutions’ Head of Operations, Chris Murphy, said: “We’re proud to have been awarded this latest series of prestigious contracts across the healthcare sector thanks to our reputation for producing quality results under the unique challenges of working in live hospital environments.
“The healthcare sector is an important workstream for Novus’ growth ambitions, so we’re delighted to have ended 2022 in such a positive way. We’re looking forward to continuing to build on this success in 2023 and beyond.”
