Lovat's Group Limited has won a seven-million-pound contract to provide hard facilities management to the National Records of Scotland Estate.

Lovat’s will provide electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fabric planned and reactive maintenance, 24/7 helpdesk and emergency services, energy management, and project and minor works management.

The contract will run until 2029, with two one-year extensions.

The National Records of Scotland (NRS) is a non-ministerial department of the Scottish Government that supports the Registrar General for Scotland and the Keeper of the Records of Scotland. The estate includes four buildings, a mix of Category A listed structures of exceptional architectural and historical significance within the Edinburgh New Town Conservation Area and World Heritage Site, and a purpose-built archive storage facility.

Michael Floyd, Managing Director of Lovat's Group Limited, said, "This is a significant achievement for Lovat's Group, and we are poised to deliver excellent results for NRS. Our company's commitment to excellence and extensive experience will ensure that we provide outstanding service to our new clients. Our team at Lovat's Group is looking forward to this new opportunity and is committed to delivering NRS with the highest-quality service possible.”
