Read Full ArticleMitie has agreed to acquire the Lincolnshire-based high-voltage electrical engineering business ESM Power in a deal worth £8.5 million.
ESM Power will join Mitie’s Projects business, to enhance the company’s position in the high voltage power connections market, adding design capabilities, private network solutions and maintenance services to its customer offering.
ESM Power has 20 years of experience in the design, delivery and maintenance of high-voltage power connections across a broad range of sectors, including local authorities, commercial developments and power generation sites. Blue-chip customers include Canary Wharf Group, Cemex, Centrica, PepsiCo and RWE.
The deal is expected to complete on 31 July 2024, and 60 staff members will move over to Mitie.
