The Water Dispenser & Hydration Association (the WHA) has announced the appointment of Mark Cross as its Deputy Chairman, with immediate effect.
Mark Cross is Sales & Marketing Director at Waterlogic GB and Managing Director at MIW Water Cooler Experts and has over 20 years of commercial experience in the UK water dispenser sector. He has worked with Nestle Water Coolers and Angel Springs, taking on roles that included field sales, key account management, digital marketing, and customer relationship management.
Jon Wicks, Chair of the WHA, said: "Mark is the perfect choice as Deputy Chairman. As a member of our EC (board) he has been involved in the strategic planning for the industry association since its formation two years ago and has a wealth of industry sector experience as well as marketing knowledge and energy to help take the WHA forward."
Mark Cross succeeds James Anderton who stepped down from the role last month.
Bidvest Noonan has named Liz Cummins as Managing Director of its new London Security Solutions business unit. Bidvest Noonan launched the business unit in February of this year following a period of robust growth, which saw its security and front of house businesses cement leadership positions in London.
As Managing Director, Liz will lead the growth and development of the new business unit and join Bidvest Noonan's executive team. She has a history of success delivering security and front of house services in London and over ten years of senior leadership experience in the facilities services industry.
Commenting on her appointment, Liz said, "I'm delighted to join Bidvest Noonan and to lead our new London Security Solutions business unit. I joined Bidvest Noonan because I recognised that it is a business that puts people first. Our teams and clients are at the core of all our decisions. Together, we will challenge conventions, design innovative solutions and work hard to deliver the best service and value to our clients."
BGIS, the global facilities provider, has appointed Andrew Hammond as Operations Director.
Andrew brings with him vast knowledge of UK real estate and is a proven operator across a wide range of FM sectors. He has over 13 years of experience in the UK building services market working in both a service partner and client capacity on several world-renowned properties and portfolios.
He joins BGIS after spending the majority of his career with CBRE and more recently as Engineering Services Director.
BGIS has also announced the following changes to their UK team: Lee Clifford as Sales & Solutions Director, Derek Martin as Head of Asset Management & Engineering Consultancy, and Graham Dunn as Head of Projects.
Tudor Group has welcomed Alan Gibbon to the role of Regional Operations Director.
Having worked across many large global accounts, Alan brings a wealth of expertise in operational management.
Alan will play a key role within the Tudor Group leadership team, bringing to life their core values: excellence, control, value, transparency, and compliance. Alan’s responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery of a range of contracts - from stadia to schools - managing client and stakeholder relationships whilst ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies.
In addition to working with clients and supporting staff operationally on a day-to-day basis, Alan is a trained Mental Health First Aider and will champion mental health awareness and wellbeing within the Tudor Group.
