Nominations Open for Young FM Networking Opportunity
Social enterprise Tomorrow Meets Today is inviting young people working in facilities management to nominate themselves to attend an exclusive networking evening. At...
Read Full ArticleProperty Affiliates, an organisation renowned in London for bringing property and FM professionals together, has taken the bold decision to change its direction and emerge as a 'focused event' organiser.
Mike Green, the principal behind Property Affiliates (PA) said: "With more and more 'me too' networking events coming on stream, Property Affiliates has decided yet again to lead where others cannot follow by making our events more focused so that attendees know what to expect and sponsors get real value for money.
"For example we will be running our incredibly popular FM FeMale gatherings twice in 2019 along with a series of Breakfast Briefings and Seminars, whilst developing other elements in our portfolio."
ThisWeekinFM
Property Affiliates has been fortunate to agree a mutual promotion arrangement with ThisWeekinFM. Green continued: "I am so pleased to be working with ThisWeekinFM and to be able to promote PA events to their vast network of property, workplace, FM and built environment professionals. Property Affiliates' Education Events (the Breakfast Briefings and Seminars) will draw its audience from an end user base; while FM FeMale, as it has always done, will attract women (and men) from both client and supplier networks.
"ThisWeekinFM will continue to run their London Facilities & Workplace Networking Club (FWNC) meetings which really have risen to a pre-eminent position. When you go to the FWNC, you know you will meet like-minded professionals and have a real chance of doing business - unlike the hit and miss affairs we have seen sprout up elsewhere in the Capital."
Strategic
This more strategic approach by Property Affiliates will see its events still organised on an 'by invite only' basis. FM FeMale remains free to attend - with great value for money Sponsorship Opportunities helping to cover the costs of these hugely popular and outstandingly well attended gatherings.
Breakfast Briefings & Seminars will be priced ticketed events - again with marvellous value Sponsorship Opportunities.
"Green says: "Breakfast Briefings & Seminars will feature top of their game speakers that attendees will be happy to pay to come and hear. This and our move to take FM FeMale in to more eloquent surrounds is a natural progression to the higher ground for Property Affiliates.
"The Property Affiliates network and our professionalism in event organisation is only matched by our partner's - ThisWeekinFM's - professional approach and insight in to the industry."
Laurence Allen of ThisWeekinFM said: "We have successfully partnered with Property Affiliates for over five years. We know the strength of its organisational capabilities and the strength of its network will allow PA to re-invent itself in this new focused, professional capacity. I am very, very happy to be working with Property Affiliates and believe Mike Green's progressive and strategic leadership will see the relationship with ThisWeekinFM blossom."
