Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has acquired M&P Fire Protection Ltd a specialist in the installation, maintenance and testing of dry and wet riser systems and commercial and domestic sprinkler systems.

The organisation is based in Maidstone, Kent.

Paul Teasdale, CEO of PTSG, said: “This acquisition extends the service offering of our Fire Solutions division and complements our wider provision as the UK’s largest niche specialist service provider.

“We are fully committed to the continuation of our successful strategy of achieving market leadership across the sectors in which we operate and this acquisition strengthens our geographical coverage within the fire protection sector, particularly in London and the South-East."

PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd. now comprises the UK’s leading dry riser installation and testing and maintenance business, as well as the market-leading residential sprinkler installation, testing and maintenance business.

The business will retain its management team which will continue to grow and expand the business. Mike Thackray and Paul Atkins will continue to lead the M&P team and their vast experience and technical ability will ensure that they quickly become highly valued team members at PTSG.
