The London Film School, one of the world's leading postgraduate film institutions based in Covent Garden, London, has appointed SmartSec Solutions to manage its security services.

SmartSec will provide security officers seven days a week to work across the site on Shelton Street, next to the Pineapple Studios and London Film School’s financial offices a short distance away.

Front of House Security Services and Socially Distanced Routes

With students returning back in the first week of September, SmartSec prepared the facility with carefully designed routes in and out to adhere to social distancing measures and to encourage flow throughout the site.

Branded London Film School face masks are provided to each student upon entry and SmartSec will provide a daily front of house reception service to welcome visitors.

SmartSec is also working closely with the London Film School’s internal facilities team providing its specially trained staff to cover holidays and absences.

Nick Aravis, Facilities Manager at the London Film School, commented: “We are very familiar with SmartSec Solutions and its reputation. At such a critical and sensitive time, it was important for us to appoint a security provider who would display empathy and professionalism to our students and staff who may have felt a hint of anxiety about returning to work and study.

“SmartSec clearly understood our needs. The company has helped prepare the facility impeccably and made the return as seamless as possible.”

“The London Film School is one of the most prestigious film institutions in the world and we are honoured to be assisting it with its security and front of house services. We are committed to ensuring the return to the facility is as straightforward as possible on a daily basis and helping students and staff alike get accustomed to new routines,” said Theo Nicolaou, managing director at SmartSec Solutions.
