Anthony Murphy is an FM Director and Consultant who managed the IFM delivery at the nuclear site Sellafield and led the TFM service delivery team for Rolls Royce UK.

Anthony’s varied career has seen him working across multiple industries and sectors over the last 30 years as both client and service provider, resulting in him founding his own FM consultancy in 2023.

Starting out as an electrical engineer, working his way through supervisory and management roles, Anthony was exposed to the world of FM when managing an automated logistics and warehousing project. He then moved to FM contract management with Taylor Woodrow, and has since worked for providers such as Dalkia, Mitie and ISS.

Throughout his time working for FM service providers, Anthony managed sites at locations that most people would never get to see, such as the nuclear site Sellafield and the manufacturing environments of Rolls-Royce Aerospace and Teledyne e2v, a company that produces silicone image sensors for space missions.

Whilst working at mission-critical sites and for prestigious aerospace brands, Anthony became known for problem-solving and relationship management, fixing problems and working with clients to transform failing projects. Bringing this expertise to his own FM consultancy, Veritas Facilities Management, Anthony aims to act as “the architect of the FM world”, using his years of experience to help businesses avoid common pitfalls before they arise.

We joined Anthony to hear more about those iconic sites he’s worked at and his plans to help customers, end users and FM providers to adding value to their existing FM service.
