Read Full ArticleBrian Rogers is the Managing Director of McArthur Business Solutions, an FM and property services consultancy he founded with his son Cameron.
Following a distinguished military career where he reached the rank of Warrant Officer, Brian became passionate about ensuring that buildings are not just places to work, but actively improve people’s working lives. He joined the built environment sector and worked for the Ashwell Property Group, AVIVA, and Pinnacle. He then set up his own consultancy in 2013, advising many high-profile clients (Johnson Matthey, Cambridge University and Anglian Water to name a few) on various aspects of their business including corporate strategies and structure.
In his role as Head of Property and Facilities with Ashwell he was part of the team who won best operational PFI at the then annual BIFM awards. This award was for the delivery of the first successful PFI housing project with the Ministry of Defence in Suffolk, a project that materially improved the housing and lives of service families. At AVIVA, Brian managed the UK & Ireland capital projects, with a direct link to the FM functions. His further PFI experience led to him managing several schools across England.
“I’ve always kept the fact that we are a solutions-based organisation in mind. If you have an issue or a thought or a problem within the property or FM arena, we will be able to provide a solution.”
