Jim Holland is the CEO and Co-Founder of Carma, a business which partners with veterans and service leavers to plant trees in the UK.

Jim is a veteran himself, having spent 13 years in the Royal Navy. After working for Vodafone, Sky and Manchester Airport Group, Jim now wants to show FM companies how they can reduce their impact on the environment with Carma.

After being made redundant from his role with Manchester Airport Group during the pandemic, Jim reconnected with former Navy colleague Dr Andrew Steel. Andrew heads up the Green Task Force, a company which offers veterans the chance to be involved in nature-based therapy and woodland creation. Jim founded Carma so he could partner with the Green Task Force in UK tree planting, helping veterans on a pathway to meaningful employment and making it easy for businesses to make a positive impact on the environment.
