Join Alistair Scott, Deputy Chair of the IWFM Veterans in FM Network, to learn about the group’s work to encourage veterans to transition to FM careers. 

Alistair spent 14 years serving in the British Army within the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers (REME), and has since forged a successful career in FM and maintenance, founding his own company, Integrated Estate Management. However, he remains committed to the UK ex-military community and alongside industry peers, helped to establish the IWFM Veterans in FM Network alongside Chair Louisa Clarke, Mark Baker, COO - Government at Sodexo, Charlie Antelme, MD Commercial and Government at Mitie and Mark Moseley, Director at PestGone Environmental and The Apprentice contestant. 

The group considers the workplace and facilities management sector a natural fit for ex-service personnel. The network supports service leavers into the facilities management and built environment sector through mentorship, training, and industry networking events. Members receive 1-1 professional development support to discuss their career needs and help pinpoint them to the right training, qualifications and support.
