Spotlight Interview – Matt Chapman

Matt Chapman is the CEO of SBFM, one of the UK and Ireland's fastest-growing soft FM service providers.

After studying law and criminology, Matt aspired to be a sports agent before transitioning through roles in a call centre, in marketing at BMW, and media sales at The Guardian. Working as a consultant finalising Arsenal Football Club’s move from Highbury to Emirates Stadium exposed Matt to the built environment and the relationship between facilities management and customer experience. This led to roles at Interserve and Atalian Servest before he became CEO at SBFM.

We joined Matt to discuss his unconventional career path to FM CEO and his passion for helping frontline colleagues advance their careers.
