Circular1 Health is a revolutionary testing service company, born out of the COVID-19 crisis, which has responded to critical businesses that need to remain operational.
They offer a fully managed service, providing all elements of the science, infrastructure and highly trained staff. This includes the reporting, results, certification to customers, management of data and digital applications to enable a simple and smooth process all the way through.
We spoke to their FM, Adam Fahn, about the past and future of such a role, his route into FM and how he is challenging the term “workplace” itself.
“I say on my LinkedIn profile that what I do is make people safe and efficient in buildings, because it is so much more than volts and amps and flows of water and all the technical stuff. That’s why we have engineers and experts in those fields. I believe as an FM ,our role is bringing that all together and offering the entire package"

Facilities Manager, Circular1
Watch the Video
Adam’s role at Circular1 Health involves managing the buildings where the company’s testing technology is offered, in new laboratories, fit-outs within existing buildings and mobile labs within shipping containers.
Circular 1 Health currently has testing laboratories in Paddington, London, Barrow-in-Furness and Manchester, as well as mobile laboratories around the UK.
Making People Safe and Efficient in Buildings
Passionate about FM as an industry, Adam is a NEBOSH qualified FM with a history of managing diverse portfolios across the UK, having previously worked for OCS Group and Churchill Contract Services.
“The role [at Circular1 Health] found me, and thankfully facilities management is something I fought to get into as proposed to falling into it which I think too many people say in our industry.
“I say on my LinkedIn profile that what I do is make people safe and efficient in buildings, because it is so much more than volts and amps and flows of water and all the technical stuff. That’s why we have engineers and experts in those fields.
“I believe as an FM our role is bringing that all together and offering the entire package, so the company can focus on its lab work or whatever it may be. We provide the facility for you, so you can thrive without worrying about those behind the scenes elements.”
