Spotlight Interview – David Stevens

David Stevens is the first CIBSE Vice President with an estates and facilities bias in 20 years, marking a significant milestone for the FM sector.

David was also recently named as the Chair of the CIBSE Facilities Management (FM) Group, taking over from Geoff Prudence. This is in addition to his chairship of the CIBSE LGBTQI Panel, demonstrating his commitment to inclusivity within the building services industry.

David is also a Fellow of both the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) and the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM), serving as a long-standing judge for the IWFM Awards and as a member of the IHEEM Diversity and Inclusion Working Group

Supporting CIBSE’s new President Fiona Cousins in her “Building Performance Reimagined” theme, David spoke to ThisWeekinFM about his plans for the Vice Presidency.
