TNT Express Gives FM Co Stamp of Approval

15 July 2014 | Updated 01 January 1970
TNT Express, the global express delivery company, has awarded Shepherd FM a mechanical and electrical maintenance contract for its 70 site portfolio.

The partnership will see the FM company deliver a  tailored ‘hub and spoke’ solution, combining both resident and mobile engineering teams, across TNT Express’ network of more than 70 UK sites as well as its UK head office in the Midlands.

Simon Harper, TNT Express Director of Operations, says: “We appreciated Shepherd FM’s approach which includes a dedicated account manager for the life of the contract. Having so many locations throughout the UK with a wide range of heating, air-conditioning and electrical maintenance requirements, Shepherd’s solutions proved the best option.”

Noel Clancy, Shepherd FM CEO says: “TNT Express operates in a demanding arena which requires 100% uptime. I believe this consolidates Shepherd’s reputation for delivering five-star service to time-critical businesses. We faced some stiff competition but our ability to listen and build a bespoke offering differentiated us from the pack."

The contract went live on 6 July.
