Read Full ArticleThe University of Greenwich has awarded Sodexo a five-year integrated facilities management deal to start in May 2020.
The contract will see Sodexo bring together and deliver a range of facilities services including security, cleaning, grounds maintenance, helpdesk services, portering, and maintenance and engineering.
Sodexo’s IFM services will focus on providing social and added value. This will include activities to preserve the environment, support local communities, enrich students’ learning experience, and improve their employability post-graduation.

Initiatives will include the introduction of electric vehicles, CV clinics, employability workshops, work experience placements and guest lectures from experts from across the Sodexo business, overseen by a dedicated customer experience manager.

Through its partnership with the Social Value Portal, Sodexo is able to measure and report on the social impact of their service delivery, setting social and added value targets that will be measured and reported on annually.

The University of Greenwich's three campuses comprise of academic and residential buildings which range from grade-listed to brand-new, state-of-the-art environments for student learning.
