Read Full ArticleJanuary 22 saw OCS announce that the company been selected by Newbury Racecourse to provide cleaning and 'customer services'.
The contract will see OCS provide services on racedays and for other events and conferences held at the site.
Newbury Racecourse will host 30 racedays and evenings from February to December (some of which include extra entertainment) in 2020 - with the venue holding both jumps and flat racing.
The three year contract, which commences immediately (with the next meeting scheduled for Saturday February 8), will see OCS provide all cleaning services, including laundry, office cleaning and venue cleaning. OCS will be responsible for the racecourse, offices, on-site nursery and accommodation for jockeys and workers.
The customer services element includes cloakroom services and customer hosting.
The Berkshire course has a range of cafes and restaurants.
In addition to racing Newbury Racecourse hosts conferences and weddings. The site also boasts its own hotel and nursery.
Newbury partnered with OCS after receiving positive testimonies advised Lucy Hayes, head of operations at the racecourse:
