The Crown Commercial Service has awarded 44 suppliers places on its new Facilities Management & Workplace Services Framework.
Mitie, Wates FM, ISS and BAM FM are amongst those appointed for public sector FM contracts, live as of this July. CCS RM6232 – Facilities Management & Workplace Services replaces the existing framework, RM3830 – Facilities Management Marketplace, with a renewed priority of social value. Only appointed suppliers are able to bid for work under RM6232 for contracts with a combined total of up to £36bn in value.
The feedback-based changes include also include a net-zero module, as well as a focus on improving clinical waste management and training.

The Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn, supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
