Mitie Signs Extended IFM Contract With Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK

Mitie will continue to deliver integrated facilities management services at Toyota’s Derbyshire vehicle manufacturing plant.

The contract, which dates back to 2019, will see the Mitie team provide engineering maintenance, specialist production support, cleaning & hygiene services, and landscaping across the 235-hectare site.

Under the renewed agreement, Mitie will continue to deliver these services for an additional five years, covering air handling and ventilation, electrical and mechanical maintenance and the repair of metal stillages used to carry car parts to the production line.

During the contract, Mitie has helped reduce domestic water on-site through initiatives such as installing microbiological systems to reduce water flow in toilets.
