March 8 saw The cleaning industry recognise its newest stars at the 2018 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards.

Awards were presented to winners across 14 categories at a formal ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane, hosted by British comedy star Sally Phillips. They are as follows:

Best Cleaned Premises, Healthcare Establishment with fewer than 250 beds - Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists, Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, Dublin.

Best Cleaned Premises,  Office areas below 250,000 square feet - VINCI Facilities, Welsh Government, Aberystwyth.

Best Cleaned Premises, Large Education Establishment - Julius Rutherfoord & Co. South Thames College, Merton Campus, London.

Best Cleaned Premises, Individual Retail Establishment - The Exclusive Services Group Ltd, Sainsbury’s, Exeter.

Best Cleaned Premises, Shopping Mall over 1 million square feet - intu Eldon Square, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Best Cleaned Premises, Shopping Mall under 1 million square feet - Principle Cleaning Services, Landsec, One New Change, London.

Best Cleaned Premises, Manufacturing - Sodexo, Seagate Springtown, Derry.

Best Cleaned Premises, Hospitality Award sponsored by RPC bpi refuse - Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists, Crosscare, Dublin.

Environmental Awareness Award sponsored by Diversey - Cleanology.

Industry Training Award sponsored by BICSc - Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists, Derrycourt Training Centre, Dublin.

Site Supervisor of the Year sponsored by Cleaning Matters - Ray Browne, Sodexo.
