Mobilisation - It's A People Thing

Avison Young, which runs a portfolio of commercial properties across London and the South-East, has given feedback on the people involved in the mobilisation of a security contract.

Since early January 2019, TC Security Services, part of TC Facilities Management, have been providing guarding and mobile patrol services. 20 members of staff transferred from a number of incumbent suppliers.

Alan Prince, Director, National Strategic FM for Avison Young said: “We ran a full-blown tender to make sure we appointed the right security specialist to manage this diverse portfolio of properties. Against a wide range of criteria, TC Security Services came out in front. As a new supplier, there was an added element of risk. Nearly four months after go-live, we’re happy with the decision to appoint them.”

Satia Rai, Operations Director of TC Security Services said: “Having been awarded the contract for guarding and mobile patrol services with Avison Young, we committed the resource necessary to ensure the mobilisation was seamless. We’ve also implemented technology that will provide both parties with data and analysis to shape better decision making.”
