Mrs Mopp Vs Metal Mickey In City Of Ajax

Amsterdam (home to the famous Ajax FC) is already gearing up for the fabulous Interclean Exhibition - May is 15-18.

Visitors are being promised the opportunity to discover the future of professional cleaning and hygiene as the Mrs Mopp of 1967 (when the show first appeared) is finally placed to rest by robotics. 30,000 are expected from more than 130 countries.

The show will include a programme of educational seminars and workshops (and 850 exhibitors from 40 countries). Free seminars include more than one on the impact of new technologies but one in particular is entitled Trendwatcher - Which Developments Should We Look Out For? Which will highlight new business models, robots and Apps and include an Innovation Award.

Robot challenge

The Facility Inspiration Event (May 18) is a special day of events dedicated to helping facilities managers improve their performance; and the Robot Arena has live demonstrations of the latest robot cleaners taking on a series of challenges.

Wasting time

A workshop – Anatomy of the Waste Bin – runs every day, giving visitors a hands-on opportunity to discover how to reduce their waste footprint.

Healthcare

The Healthcare Cleaning LAB offers a dedicated platform for sharing best practice and innovation. A realistic hospital room mock-up will host live product and technique demonstrations daily.

Refuse to go

RPC bpi recycled products and ESE World are exhibiting. The companies respectively offer customers refuse sacks and temporary storage solutions for waste and recyclable materials. RPC upcycles plastic material and turns it into second-life products. With the scope and expertise to recycle over 70,000 tonnes of plastic material each year, the company gives new life to polythene from commercial, industrial, packaging and agricultural sources across Europe.
