• Steve Davies Joins Novus Property Solutions

Steve Davies, former Director at Serco, Compass Group and Kier Group, has joined Novus Property Solutions as CEO.

Novus Property Solutions is a national maintenance, compliance and construction contractor and Davies will aim to double profits by 2026 – with the strategic plan to do so centred on three key themes: Novus’ people and culture, building revenue, and continuous improvement.

Specialis in FM and Asset Management

Davies has worked within facilities and asset management, engineering, leisure and business services markets. His last role in the construction industry was as Group Business Development and Customer Service Director of Kier Group Plc. and in his most recent venture, Davies was Founder and Managing Director of two consultancy firms, specialising in advising on profitable growth, compliance and governance, and new market sectors. 

Commenting on his new role, Davies said: “I am both excited and proud to be joining Novus at this important and exciting time in its history, and it is a real privilege and honour to be trusted by the Seddon family to be their Chief Executive Officer.

“Having laid an impressive foundation in the key areas of housing, healthcare and education throughout its long history, I am very much looking forward to driving continued growth and profitability across Novus’ core business sectors and targeted new markets. I look forward to getting to know both our team and our valued clients so we can continue to work together in the next chapter of Novus’ story.”

Novus Property Solutions was incorporated in 2013 following a restructuring of Seddon Property Services Ltd, a division of the Seddon group formed in 1897. Today, the company operates as an independent trading entity but still under the ownership of the Seddon family, led by fourth and fifth generation Seddon family members. The business has 22 offices throughout Great Britain.
