Independent grounds maintenance provider Tivoli Group has been awarded an extensive contract for Yorkshire Housing’s entire estate.
Yorkshire Housing is the biggest housing association based solely in Yorkshire, operating 20,000 homes across the region, including older people’s accommodation and social housing. The contract will see Tivoli working at around 300 sites across Yorkshire including East, West and South, providing services such as grass mowing, planted bed maintenance, hedge pruning, weed management, litter and debris removal and disposal.
Tivoli says that its bid was chosen due to its track record in working with Housing Associations in the UK.
Robert Agar, Environmental and Estates Service Manager at Yorkshire Housing, said: “We’re looking forward to working with Tivoli. Their experience and knowledge will help us to continue to provide our customers with places they’re proud to call home.”
Alex McLauchlan, Tivoli’s Regional Director, added: “It’s great news that Tivoli has been awarded the grounds maintenance contract with Yorkshire Housing. We are dedicated to providing a cost-effective service, whilst also committing to significant investment to meet the future requirements of residents and visitors and protect and regenerate the environment. This investment will deliver some exciting projects, and our teams look forward to delivering those commitments and to working in partnership with Yorkshire Housing.”
