Read Full ArticleBellrock Group has won a five-year hard FM contract with West Sussex County Council.
Valued at up to £10 million a year, the contract covers nine types of property across over 200 corporate sites. The Bellrock team will provide planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and project assistance.
West Sussex Country Council selected Bellrock for the contract due to its focus on long-term maintenance and pledge to reduce the council’s overall reactive maintenance spend.
The three-month mobilisation period started on 1 July, preparing for full-service delivery beginning in October 2024.
Bellrock’s CEO, Paul Bean, said, “It’s a big win, and a very important new client. Protecting such a diverse portfolio of properties is always a serious responsibility, but it’s one we take on proudly. We’ve deliberately grown our business and evolved our capabilities to offer best-in-class services where they’re needed most.
Bellrock has also committed to working closely with West Sussex County Council to develop social value objectives for the contract. These will deliver positive outcomes for the local community and environment, in alignment with the council’s Social Value Framework.”
Jeremy Rigby, WSCC Head of Estates added, “WSCC were delighted to award the contract to Bellrock, who provided the most competitive and comprehensive tender. It reflects a step change in how WSCC will be approaching the delivery of hard FM going forwards. I especially welcome Bellrock’s commitment to work with the County Council on our shared social value objectives. I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”
