Artic Building Services has secured a new contract to provide hard facilities services at 62 London Ambulance Service NHS Trust sites.

The multi-site deal will see Artic working across London and its bordering counties at sites such as the London Ambulance Service headquarters in Waterloo.

The contract covers HVAC maintenance and planned preventative maintenance for all mechanical assets across every site, including a variety of AHU units.

Artic says that it was appointed due to its previous experience delivering maintenance services in acute and critical environments, in line with the Health Technical Memoranda, a specialist protocol on the design, installation and operation of building and engineering technology used in healthcare sites.

The London Ambulance Service NHS Trust serves the whole of London, making it the world’s busiest emergency ambulance service, attending more than 3,000 emergencies a day.

Neil Cooper, Artic Healthcare Team Contract Manager, said “We are really excited to have another opportunity to show our dedication to working with the NHS. Making sure the sites are safe and comfortable enables the NHS to deliver the best possible patient care and we are proud to be a part of that.”
