• Medirest Awarded Catering and Cleaning Contract with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust

Medirest, the healthcare division of Compass Group, has won a soft services contract with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust.

The contract, which starts in May 2025, will see the Medirest team delivering catering services for patients, staff, and visitors in the trust’s two main hospitals: Springfield University Hospital in Tooting and Tolworth Hospital in Kingston. The trust as a whole serves 1.2 million people across the London boroughs of Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton, and Wandsworth. 

The catering provision includes pre-ordering options, and access to a digital platform to allow the team to prepare fresh meals to order. Medirest will also deliver cleaning services across the hospitals.
