What does unpasteurised mean?
The cheese is made using unpasteurised (raw milk). It often gives the cheese a better flavour and some cheeses can only be made from unpasteurised milk due to the process its made in.
Are there any cheeses pregnant ladies should avoid?
The chief medical officer suggests you avoid all soft and blue cheeses (wether pasteurised or unpasteurised) and all other cheeses made with unpasteurised milk.
What cheese is suitable for vegetarians?
The microbial rennet which starts the cheese making process is made from a plant extract so is acceptable for vegetarians. The cheese will taste no different to any made using animal rennet.

Old Dutch Gouda

Vintage Gouda
This 3 year ages gouda has a Caramely, nutty and salt combine. This cheese has a gorgeous dark gold colour. It is Grainy and crumbly, with lovely crunchy crystals. Stroopwafels (Toffee Waffles)
A stroopwafel ("syrup waffle, toffee waffle ) is a traditional Dutch wafer cookie made from two thin layers of baked dough joined by a caramel filling. First made in the Dutch city of Gouda, stroopwafels are very popular in the Netherlands and throughout the rest of the world. A little tip, put the waffle for 20 seconds on top of you're steaming hot drink to heat up the caramel on the inside of you're waffle, enjoy! These waffles can be addictive :)
