MHFA England’s mission is to train one in ten people in mental health awareness and skills, through creating mental health first aiders.

They offer a range of evidence-based face to face and digital learning, from awareness raising to skill development. They empower people to notice signs of mental ill health, and encourage them to break down barriers, listen in a non-judgemental way, and signpost to support for recovery.

Their online mental health first aider course takes place through four live training sessions, spread across two weeks, with self-learning activities in between. Everyone who completes the course gets a certificate of attendance to say that they are a mental health first aider.
