Getting Ready for ESOS

10 October 2014 | Updated 01 January 1970

Two webinars before the end of the year will focus on the route to compliance for ESOS and utilising professional services

The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) requires large organisations to act on their energy performance. The first qualifying period opens in December 2014 and the company Building Sustainability argues that it is important to start focusing on compliance now. It has developed and markets the Workplace Footprint Tracker cloud based energy smart metering, display and management service which is claimed to assist organisations save energy and reduce waste including electricity, gas and water.

It is promoting two webinars - one in October and the other in November.

The first, on 23 October 2014 is Getting ready for ESOS – the Route to Compliance and Energy Management Systems. It will examine the Energy Savings and Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) and how it will affect 7,500 large enterprises within the UK.

The second, entitled Getting ready for ESOS – Utilising Professional Services to Maximise the Opportunity, takes place on 12 November 2014 at 1:00pm (GMT).

More specifically, the webinars will look at:

  • Why the need to comply?
  • How to maximise the opportunity?
  • What is the business case for ESOS?

Both webinars are free and will have a running time of 20 minutes with a further 10 minutes for Q&A.
