Mitie - Unexpected Turnover and Crash

Two cars belonging to Mihomecare were involved in separate vehicle incidents last week.

The reasons why two Skoda Citigos, owned by the care provider and part of the Mitie Group, were damaged have yet to be revealed by the emergency services and no serious injuries occurred.

The first accident took place near Godalming in Surrey at approximately 11am on Thursday, 10 September when the Skoda overturned in Badger’s Close (as the police image shows). The female driver was treated at the scene for minor facial injuries and did not require being taken to hospital.

Two hours later the other vehicle was involved in a crash with another car at the junction of Dunsfold Road and Stovolds Hill in Dunsfold took place.

South East Coast Ambulance Service issued a statement for both incidents: ‘We sent a single response car to attend and the patient was an adult female. The patient was checked over at the scene but was not taken to hospital.’ The second accident did not appear to need hospital attention either.

Contacted by TWinFM for a further statement on the separate incidents, a spokesman for the Mitie Group referred us to the statement issued last week by a spokesman: ‘I can confirm that we are investigating the incidents, so until that is completed it would not be appropriate to comment.’
