For some, Freedom Day marks a much-awaited return to some of our pre-pandemic habits, including working at the office instead of at home. But is everyone keen to come...

Research shows that 80 per cent of UK office workers weren’t required to be vaccinated before returning to work, with a further 17 per cent unsure on company policy regarding vaccination.
Although vaccinations aren’t a requirement in the majority of workplaces, 28 per cent stated they weren’t confident about a return to the workplace, while 21 per cent remained on the fence.
The research from Ezra, a provider of digital coaching, demonstrated that 51 per cent feel confident returning to work when either they or their colleagues aren’t required to have a vaccination.
14 per cent of the 1,035 UK office workers surveyed said their companies are removing staff social events to reduce the chance of catching COVID.
Some offices are preventing external face to face meetings from taking place in order to protect workers, with others requiring PPE in the workplace (10 per cent), as well as restricting the use of shared communal areas or shared resources such as kitchens (10 per cent).
Weekly COVID tests were less prominent (6 per cent), with reduced internal meetings also largely taking place (9 per cent).
Such a feeling of uncertainty may wane given the pace of the UK's vaccination programme. At the time of writing, over 33 million people in Britain have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and a second dose has been given to almost 13.6 million people.
In England, those aged 42 and over are currently being invited to book their COVID jabs online.
